As a child of the 90s, disposable cameras and cassette camcorders were what we used to document our life. I remember my mom chasing my brothers and me down to sit for photos and how excited we were to pick up our developed pictures from the Eckerds Pharmacy. As I got older and digital cameras and cell phones became more popular, the production of "taking a photo" lessened. The iPhone made it convenient, and you can now take ten photos rather than one because you "wanted to save the film." However, when I hold the developed pictures from my childhood, I can relive the moment we took that photo, and the memory of exactly what was going on and what my mom said to us made to get us to stand still. That feeling is magical.

I started taking photos to remember moments, to have a little piece of the past forever. In high school and later college, I began using photography as an art medium and developed my skills for photographing objects and places. These experiences contributed to me now working with independent authors to help market their romance novels through flat-lay, promotional images, and portraits.
